lol. In a way.... I think contracts have been cancelled, and that some of it had savings. What I wonder is what they are going to do when they supposedly reach the 1.5 Trillion in "savings".
Anyway, having a special government employee in charge of government efficiency is a "Grand Plan", can it improve? Will it?
If even a portion of what they report is actual savings it is better than what we had before, and if there becomes a drive towards efficiency and savings, a "movement" to actually get it done something can happen that could be incredible. In order to begin such a thing you actually have to start on the path. I'd like to see where it goes.
Damocles one of your many problems is you do not understand what the word 'savings' mean.
if you have a contract with someone to build this web site for you and i come in and cancel it, that is not 'savings' simply because i prevented you spending in that moment with that vendor.
You show, time and again you are fully wiling to accept the number and definitions given by MAGA despite them being BS.
We have yet to see a single a single contract 'canceled' my Doge that was fraud despite the claims. Instead they are cancelled simply because any contract with a cancellation provision, and some without were ALL cancelled by Doge with no regard to ...if the service is needed (would it cut cost if implemented) or ...if they will get sued and have to pay out later, or ...if the next government will have to redo and reinstate it, as it was needed.
So while you will clap like a seal at 'any savings being worth it' that is because you are dumb and do not think beyond the announcement and i can prove it.
Damocles test:
Question 1 - when all the people were fired or laid off and Doge claimed 'savings' ... does Damocles even factor that those people are now being rehired by court order, being paid for time missed and some suing for damages all of which could cost more...
Question 2 - When Doge announces savings cutting the IRS to the bone... does Damocles even factor or recognize that government inbound revenue loss will far exceed any employee savings or does he just clap like a seal seeing only the cost side...
Question 3 - as all these departments rehire in the next administration (NOAA, NIOSH, IRS, Veterans Affiars, etc) does Damo recognize that the 'savings' claimed were fake and just a slight of hand to TEMPORARILY show a ledger with reduced cost despite them knowing that would be fixed at even great cost later...
I guarantee you Damo would not get one of these questions correct and he will continue this line that as long as at the end Doge claims even $1 of savings it will all be worth it and what you WON'T see Damo do is speak to the liability side of Doge actions even if those cost 10 times as much.
