Does this shit not get old to you guys?

Sure the Democrat South had lots of good ol' boys who honed their marksmanship hunting vittles, and they used that skill very effectively during many battles and skirmishes. But now the Democrats have honed their skills ordering the perfect latte, not a very useful skill in warfare. LOL

and that shooting skill is as relevant today. LOFL

My you are sensitive today. If I REALLY meant Idiot I would have SAID idiot. Instead I used colloquialism to point out that you were being too sensitive. I meant no slight.
The Southern Man accepts your apology although suspects it is hollow.

:0)

They may not be armed with truth, intelligence, or even common sense my brother .. but if they are armed with emotion and direction, they can still kick your ass and win the day.

It's the classic battle between the left and the right. The left may make the more intelligent argument, but they are weak. The American left is weak as doodoo.

Wars cannot be won without warriors.

And again we agree.

But you have to admire their tenacity.

They keep making shit up and throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks.

They know democrats are pussies.

You seem to have left out that the Democrates do exactly the same thing.
There are those, on both sides, that seem to believe that if they say something long enough, that it BECOMES truth.

Bravo!! Well said, Soc! I'll pack this weekend and head for the mountain west.

Soc, I'll bring a bottle of good scotch, tequila or whatever you would enjoy. You grab a couple of good cigars. Thorn you bring your hubby & your dogs. We will build a place for them to go thru their paces on an obstacle course. We can gather a few of us together for social hours, and watch Thorn's puppies run their course.

Damo, you ready for company? Fire up the grill?

Sounds good to me! :)

I know a nice place in Durango you could buy.

That's southwest CO, right? They're having an Agility match in September. I just need to persuade my hubby that winter snow sports are fun and are definitely worth the beautiful summer climate in the mountains.

Yep you got it. Just down the tracks from Silverton.

Less to do with them being dems and more to do with them being an agrarian society without much industrial base from which to build weapons and modernize. The south could have won the war if the Brits had come in on their side but the south refused to at least manumit slaves and that was the sticking point for the British government. Their people would have NEVER supported allying themselves with a slave nation.

While discussing the issue, John C. Calhoun admitted to John Q. Adams that the South would be in a very weak state, rife with internal conflicts between the states, and inevitable conflict with the North if secession occurred. He explained that the South would have to turn to Britain for strength, and the great Adams pointed out the irony of becoming attached to the motherland again like the colonies. What great Americans Calhoun represented.

hypothetical history doesn't count as actual fact, douche.

Calhoun was considered one of the most astuste politicos of the 19th Century, alongside Clay and Lincoln. Seriously, STFU retard.

mmkay, but,

hypothetical history STILL doesn't count as fact.

Gene Rodenberry is great science fiction writer, that doesn't make Star Trek real, Trekkie with red pubes.

You dumbass, Calhoun was writing about REAL, contemporary matters as one trained political scientist to an esteemed colleague in the field. There was nothing hypothetical about it. He had studied his Southern culture closely, which is largely what made him the political leader of the South from 1830 to 1850.
