Does the will of the American people mean anything?

I mean the EC votes should be divided according to the popular vote. So if it was 50/50, for the sake of argument, then somewhere like California would have 29 votes for each candidate.

so you just wanted popular vote to win, via EC apportionment. in other words, popular vote. just say it.

It's not going anywhere..it's the states electors doing the electing.
They are representatives of the states who follow the popular will (vote) of their constituents (populace)

The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;

you racists are the most hated people on the planet

You keep avoiding this, Desh.
Is it because you're scared?

Why do you hate American and Democracy?
Why are still gulping the liberal tar?

Do you need to be publically shamed into changing your hatred?

The will of the people is correct friend. Not the will of a few pockets around the country but all 50 States=all peoples voices will be heard. You gotta win more of America to win the White House. Not just a few regions. Just like most of the free world elects their head of state. Most are elected by Parliament. The people elect Parliament and the Parliament elects the Head of State. Reason is so all people have a voice. It isn't a popularity contest for most votes. It is about who is voted to best represent the whole....not parts of America. Hillary and the Democrats have known how it works for 200 years. She did not speak to America as a whole but just certain urban centers. She will/did lose.
This is a silly position/argument/discussion.

If this was to be decided by a popular vote I can already predict the lamentations from the liberals, if they lost the "popular" vote in an election; because if they lost and EVERY SINGLE ELIGIBLE VOTER didn't vote, they would then say the will of the people isn't being heard; because NOT EVERYONE VOTED.

:facepalm:

The only country in the world to not elect their leader by popular vote.

More "if/then" horseshit.
