Does the story add up...

I am just trying to put this all together in a way that makes sense.


I suspect that some of the "gun battles" were the result of overzelous cops... and that in truth gunfire was not returned. But the question remains, how did the police fire so many rounds without killing the suspects? How did the police "tackle" the older brother in a suicide vest without him setting it off? Why did the brother run over the suspect?

Also, why were the subways in far off portions of Boston shut down? Trains? But not air travel?
 
ITs like a bad movie with so many inconsistancies that it becomes unbelieveable.

Regardless? Uh, doesn't the fact that the source very likely got one thing wrong reason enough to discount the rest of the claim? I'm sure he has an injury to his neck and maybe its a gunshot wound, but when did he suffer the injury? Was he shot in the early morning shoot out? Maybe the police or FBI shot him in the boat or when he tried to get out of the boat. Who the hell knows?

Also, too, what does it matter?

I dont know why it matters, but it does not add up to me that a person with a gunshot through the neck, if it had just happened, or had happened 12 hours ago, could climb into or out of that boat.

I do. I would never mock someone I pitied. Though, there are some who cause me to vacillate between pity and violence. One example would be yurt, who I would sometimes pity because he is such a screech and you just know he can't have any friends...but then other times I would really think about how good it would feel to beat him with my shoe.

Two bombing suspects running around on the ground on the loose... why would they shut down the subway and not the airport Jarod?

I understand why, I am not sure it makes sense, and it certantly is unprecidented... even though bombing suspects have been on the lose in the past. Atlanta did not shut down its subway's after the Olympic Bombings.

I would understand if they shut down portions of the subway... I understand why they might have incredably heavy security on the subway...

Even your buddy Damocles questioned the shutting down of the city.

Boston didn't shut down the MBTA after the bombings, either.
