Does Romney have a good jobs record?

virtually every liberal has defended obama on jobs because jobs are a lagging indicator. yet....many of the same liberals will bash romney's record during his years in office, despite the fact that right after he left, the state moved nearly to the top 10 in the nation.

is it fair to say romney does have a good job record? applying the same standard of course.

I haven't seen any liberals that know shit about lagging indicators. All the library's here are stuck on blaming bush.

I saw a stat that said when Romney was gov, MA was 47th in the union in job creation.

I think it's certainly fair to question why they were almost dead last under his leadership.

It's the stat Obama's minions are using - and quite frequently. If you google it, it comes up with tons of stories. As w/ any employment/economics stat, I can't really tell if it's fudged in some way for a political objective.

However, if true, it's certainly fair to question it. I haven't heard Romney's campaign try to deny it.

There's a good article that comes up for it in the Washington Post. It says that MA was also one of only 4 states that didn't recover all of the jobs lost during the 2001 recession.

The Post is liberal, but they are usually pretty strict w/ the facts.

Liberals usually don't know dick about economics, especially the rags.

That's not much of a response. You like to say stuff like that, but I rarely see you espouse anything that passes as "economic knowledge".

Do you dispute the 47th ranked stat? It looks to be legit. If you dispute it, what is your basis for that?

Or do you think it's not important that he appears to have been woeful at job creation when he was Governor?

Then tell me which piece of shit liberal rag is good on economics.

Are you taking "I don't know how to google" lessons from Yurt or something?

There are hundreds of links for it. Like I said - it's what the Obama campaign is using, and Romney doesn't deny it. It's in a variety of newspapers & sites.

Do you think that stat is incorrect?

Seriously...how can anyone who is paying any kind of attention to this campaign not have heard the stat that MA was ranked 47th?

Dude - maybe you shouldn't vote....

Weaksauce as usual from libtards. They pulled the same lame shit on bush. Ma unemployment was at 5.6 when Romney got in and went down. Loser

lol...but jobs are lagging, right after he left they went to 11th...

so much for onceler's constant "lagging" argument now that it is a republican

I said it was a fair question. You don't think it's fair to question that?

Did you start the thread to discuss something, or just to defend Romney?

lmao...just the other day onceler claimed i don't post links...yet here he is, once again, refusing to post links.

I've never made bones about the fact that I don't post links. I said you didn't post links because you claimed you did.

why is it a fair question, but not fair to assess obama on jobs? you keep claiming that it is not obama's fault because jobs are a lagging indicator. yet, here, you will not apply the same standard to romney. why is that?

from what i've read, his record on jobs was just average or good, depending on the source...however, one huge contributing factor was the dot com burst. why is you keep ignoring that right after he left, they rose to 11th in the nation. are you saying romney is not responsible for that?
