Ironic. That's how much I charge for giving a speech and since I hate giving speech's the fee has worked extraordinarily well! :)

I didn't see her, I heard her on the radio. Nails on chalk board moment. The spitting sound in the mike before her pronunciations didn't help her painfully polished lack of sincerity.

Another Clinton who just sounds phony.

Well that's not true. I mean Bill Clinton and Barry Obama are two of the best orators in my life time. They're not quite up there with MLK but they are great public speakers. Hillary is really quite a good speaker, just not an amazing one like Bill.

I mean it's no secret that Bill and Hillary have worked as a political team most of their careers and that Bill has always been the front man and the big idea guy where as Hillary has always been the enforcer, the disciplinarian and the technocrat who sweats the details.

I've never been to a Bill Clinton speech or met the man but I hear he lights up a room when he walks into it with his charisma. I have, however, met Hillary Clinton back in 1990 when she was first lady of Arkansas and a great speaker and charismatic person she is not. She struck me more as the straightforward Midwestern academic type to me. A nice person who is extremely knowledgeable and an interesting conversationalist. So yea she's no Bill in the oratory or charisma department but nor does he have her discipline or eye for detail. They make a great team.

Yea but you're talking about some of the greatest public speakers ever. Just because someone doesn't measure up to one of the very best ever...and Barry, Bill and Dutch are all three a pale shadow of the orators that MLK or Lincoln were....doesn't mean one isn't a good public speaker. I mean...you try it!

LOL I saw them pan to Bernie about half way through Hillary's speech and they caught him puffing his cheeks and blowing out air in the universal body language of "bored".

Her content didn't bother me, it's a daughter talking about her mom. She's just freaking boring and isn't a great presenter.
