So I guess it was Orange not Red. I was mistaken. I remember when a DHLS official resigned over the political yoyo of the threat level.

Tom Ridge did get pissed when he was asked to raise the level when he didn't believe it was warranted....the liberal media made more of it than it was....and that
perception still exists today.....
Now maybe you should refresh your memory on the bombing of Iraq in 1998 that you conveniently don't remember....during the impeachment

I remember it, and it was justified, just because the President is being impeached is no reason to be weak.

Of course Jughead.....but there was NEVER any reason to raise the terrorism threat levels in the months and years immediately after of 9/11, and the hijacking and bombings of planes ....I get it.....

Clinton right, Bush wrong.....how could I forget that.

Odd, that the Iraq bombings stopped the very day after the impeachment...or was it the same day, I forget...

Incidently, why was it justified at that precise time.

I don't know... ditzie might be close...

On the left, Dung's obsession with Obama is pretty close

LOL. My "obession" with Obama consists largely of "Hooray, Obama! He's better than the Republicans (on most things)!" I support a lot of what he does by default, but if I ran the zoo I'd do things quite a bit differently.

Have you no sense of irony whatsoever?

You're saying the same thing, only from the rightie perspective. For you, Clinton's motives are suspect, but Bush's aren't - and you have made that abundantly clear, so don't weasel out of it.

Not at all.....I'm pointing out to Jarhead in the only way that seems to get his attention, that I CAN BE just as narrow-minded on this as he IS....
the irony was on purpose.

Otherwise, he doesn't see things from any perspective other than his own....

I seem to have to clarify just about everything I post for you, don't I.....that says something about the way you read, my posts, in particular.....
subtle sarcasm goes completely over your head....

You see, HE, Jarod, started this in the op with the snide, narrow minded dig about the color coded alerts of the last decade....and then had no memory of
the 'wag the dog' stuff in the Clinton years....that skipped his mind completely....

If you didn't parse my every word looking for the one thing that might be taken in another way maybe we wouldn't have to through this shit every day.

LMAO... whatever you say Dung... and ditzie doesn't love Bush either. You jump to his defense whenever someone dares criticize his policies.
