He obviously insulated himself from the actual closings, but anyone who thinks that Christie allowed his underlings to run around making decisions without his approval, knows nothing about Christie.

The real story, is the long running battle Christie has with his state senate over his attempts to pack his Supreme Court.

He broke with a 60 year tradition of granting tenure to a sitting judge. Days before the bridge closure, he referred to senate Dems. as 'animals'.

A lot of reading here.....but the Righties wouldn't accept the Cliff Notes version from Maddow.

Really? Underlings are incapable of making decisions without the executive's knowledge?

Thank you, that certainly drops a lot of bags of shit right at Obama's doorstep.

Really? You think running the Port Authority is the same a running the world's most powerful nation?

Did you care to comment on Christie?

And sadly, you failed to use your time away to get a clue as to WTF you're saying?

Really? The governor of New Jersey runs the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey?
Here ya go. Now see if you can follow along.

again i have never insulted you, rather accurately described your posts and you the author of those posts for what you are....you like to dish it out but don't seem to take it very well....there is no crying on justplainpolitics, so dry your eyes, pull yourself together and don't put out what you don't want to get back....oh and please please don't breed....

The reason you don't think you insulted me is because you have only a passing acquaintance with the English language. You take the Humpty Dumpty approach: When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.'

Here's a little piece of advice for you iceslut. Take it to heart. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

You and your justifications. You always were delusional.

We all know it's you ice. You Just can't quit us.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

She's created about 50 different names already. Remember that manic phase when she did over 25 on the same night? That was a riot!

You know how usdumbshit has a thread going in the War Zone that counts down the days until banned posters return? I'm thinking of starting a thread that counts down the days between the permabanned bitch's attempts to sneak back here while rationalizing to herself that nobody will notice.

I'm pretty amazed that USF can actually stalk Christie around the board, solely to call her the c word over and over again, and no one other than Rune says a word about it.

What a bunch of little bitches the men here are. And then some so called "moderate" con will actually have a conversation with this piece of shit.

And Damo, you won't get too many new posters when they come here and see this. Not everyone in the world is depraved or enjoys being part of a community that tolerates and even celebrates this sort of harassment.

Darla I sincerely appreciate what Rune did but I don't really care if anyone else jumps in. This ugliness has been going on for a decade now and I can see why people wouldn't want to become a part of it.

What I'm really curious about is where the mods are and why they aren't re-banning her already.

I don't know how involved in the daily stuff the governor is. He strikes me as a micromanager and considering that its clear his chief of staff was involved, I suspect he ordered it.

Now, its possible that he did not order it, but knew about it, part of his daily briefings... hey boss look at what I am doing with the bridge thing, that mayor will regret not endorsing you!

Finally, I think its unlikely but possible that the Gov. did not know, but clearly he built a team and fostered an administrative staff that felt this was an okay thing to do. They may not have told the Governor, but did it because he made it clear this was the type of thing he wanted them to do.

I think Christie knew that his people were up to something and did nothing about it. So, yeah; he's guilty. It's Watergate all over again.

LMAO @ watergate.

Of course, Obama knows nothing on just about anything going on in his administration. IRS scandal; he knew nothing. Benghazi; he knew nothing. Gun scandal; he knew nothing.

He's like a semi-black Sergeant Shultz from Hogans Heros; I know NUTTING.

But close a bridge in New Jersey; why that is Watergate. Which itself was an epic case of manufactured hysteria fom Democrats who had just lost massively in an election and used it to drag down the President who finally ended the debacle called Vietnam started by Democrats and costing the lives of 58,000 plus Americans.

If you pay attention to the words Christie is using now, he is no longer denying knowing about it early on. Christie is simply denying having ordered it, or knowing about it before it happened. He is no longer denying knowing about it while it was occurring.
