The one point I am making is it states in the CONSTITUTION that it is up to the legislatures of the states to decide how they want to appoint their delegates to the EC , State legislatures could decide just to appoint whom THEY want and not even hold elections but if they did that I am sure they wouldn't have a job for long.
So seeing that is what it says in the Constitution that means they do NOT have to demand that people have ID or be registered to vote it is all up to each states legislature on how they want to do it as per. the CONSTITUTION.
