I read online a Florida judge blocked the section that prohibited the discussion of race in schools. DeSantis' culture wars are making him very popular with 30 percent of this nation and no one else. He's going to have to come up with a new routine.

Typical response. Insults when you have nothing substantive to add. You obviously aren't familiar with the cases FIRE has taken. They have won several cases of universities violating the free speech rights of students and faculty. Obviously, they had free speech rights.
If there was something wrong in my post you should have countered it with your own verifiable information instead of silly insults but no information.

Because some are offended does not mean they can restrict the speech of others and free speech usually prevails over their whining and thus the important role for FIRE.
Those rights, for professors for example, do not extend to the classroom in cases in which the speech has nothing to do with the subject of the class. But it applies to their rights outside the classroom as long as they do represent that as speech endorsed by the school. And, it applies to speech related to the class topic.
