Electing septuagenarians, with all the demands and pressures of the presidency, is rolling the dice with a constitutional crisis.

But electing individuals in their mid- to late 70s, with all the demands and pressures of today’s office, is more a roll of the dice than we ought to be comfortable with.

Disagree...strongly.

The people can decide to vote for or against anyone...for any reason, including age.

Bad idea, Guno.

I'd rather have tax information be public.

don't say we didn't warn you Biden was senile......

Should we also do away with the 35 year old min ?

Not necessary, but I would not be against it.

I've known VERY adult youngsters...and VERY childish oldsters.

My opinion: The arbitrarily chosen lower limits of 25, 30, and 35 may have seemed reasonable back in founding days, but today they are anachronisms.

I trust the voters to decide, as long as the office of VP exists.

I'm opposed to the presidential term limit, never mind adding other restrictions.

It's the electorate's choice.
Admittedly, half of our electorate is comprised of sub-human mutants, but be that as it may,
it's the electorate's choice

We have other things to worry about.

Of course there should be an age limit.

People get stupider as they get older.
It is a scientific fact.

And seniors have a FAR better chance of developing serious, medical issues past about 70.

Why on Earth would you want people running the country who are getting weaker and stupider with each passing day?
That is insane.
You want the smartest and the healthiest...especially the former.

Congress/SCOTUS/POTUS should ALL have age limits.

BTW - I bet you most of the people opposed to this idea are old.

Agreed younger people are better.

Maybe better sanity tests for all serving in elected office?

OTOH, it's the parties picking these people and Americans voting for them.

What a dumb question!

A law regulating who i can vote for based on age. Just dumb.

Fyi, this is different than a minimum age law because that suggests qualifications includes life experiences. However, I would still argue a law limiting my choice of who I can vote for is dumb. Obviously certain things like criminal behavior should be a disqualifier, but still a dumb law.

Young people get sick and die too. Life expectancy did go down with the Trump virus. But lots of people are doing well in their mid 80s.
