No difference. They both are stalemates.

I support using as little money and manpower to acquire a stalemate with Russia.
Towards that end some detente with Russia helps a stalemate with less resources.

That leave more manpower and focus available elsewhere with no degregation of security for Europe.
Stalemate is the desired position for both Europe & NATO

One can't get what does not exist. What's wrong with the current commander in least that has kissed Putin's ass for 8 years asking for the objective evidence before he acts on conjecture, speculation and fake news? :good4u:

Obama left Poland exposed to Putin's putative lust to invade Europe shortly after he came into office, when he abandoned their missle defense system that was negotiated by Bush The Hated.

Apparently, Putin had no interest in Poland and opted for Crimea instead. Point being, there's about an 8 year long trail of Russian appeasement before Trump came along.

What was it the barry said, 'Russia's economy is no greater than Italy's economy....Russia is no threat whatsoever'. Obama mischaracterized Romney on Russia: Romney called Russia a geopolitical foe---not a national security threat. Which was pretty much true. Russia has no interest in war with the US; they aren't a threat in the way Iran or radical Islam is.

But they do oppose us on Iran.
 
all us government agencies have been corrupted and made lawless servants/ workers of iniquity by the worthless hybridized supertraitor named barack [ some dumbasses call him pres, as if]. until the swamp of barack's unlawful actors has been drained, across the board , the show must go on. everything that has transpired since jan. 20 2009 has been a production of deception and subversion. if you people cannot figure that out , the next 18 days are that much more perilous. the show is at the finale. danger is at hand. sober up.
 
Trump is testing and vetting every agency and dept.. And each has to prove it's worth to him. The same technique is used when a new CEO takes over an existing business. Everyone has to prove themselves all over again to the new boss.

Intel agencies have been put on notice, too. They are not exempt. Trump has let them know his standards are very high. He expects utmost performance from them, and he's not going to tolerate those who provide bad intel.
