LMAO; The notion that Barkley was ever a Republican requires the willful suspension of disbelief.

But he was right saying: "Poor people have been voting Democrat for 50 years and they're still poor."

Here's what else this dunce has said and done:

In July 2007, he made a video declaring his support for Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential election.

"The Republicans are full of it," Barkley said, "The Democrats are a little less full of it."

Barkley declared himself an Independent and not a Democrat as previously reported.

"I'm a big advocate of gay marriage. If they want to get married, God bless them."

This one takes the proverbial cake:

"Every time I hear the word 'conservative,' it makes me sick to my stomach, because they're really just fake Christians, as I call them. That's all they are. ... I think they want to be judge and jury. Like, I'm for gay marriage. It's none of my business if gay people want to get married. I'm pro-choice. And I think these Christians, first of all, they're not supposed to judge other people. But they're the most hypocritical judge of people we have in the country. And it bugs the hell out of me. They act like they're Christians. They're not forgiving at all."

So what we have here is a Liberal Democrat who is terribly confused about parties and ideologies that may have once claimed to be a Republican, but never was anything remotely connected to Conservative values.

Some of the most rabid anti-female types I have seen online probably haven't had a date, much less a relationship, with a woman since they rode with a neighbor and their daughter to a birthday party when they were 6 years old.
