Do Democrats want to ban guns?

Fact: Intelligent people neither want nor need guns.
Fact: There are intelligent people in all parties and all walks of life (obviously not the tea party numpties)
Fact: Question is unlikely to resolve anything.

The stupidity exhibited in that statement alone doesn't deserve a reply.....
 
I have a hard time thinking of all Democrats as one entity. Just like in any party there are some who do, others who do not. There are democrats who are hunters, who have hand guns for protection, who believe in the constitutional right to own and bear arms, there are some that do not believe in that right.

Your armed forces do not protect me. In fact your armed forces and your foreign policy endangers my life more than protects it.
I do not expect you to understand that.
So, yes. I will 'put down' your armed forces as many of your people on R & R have been 'put down' into the gutters of HK by noble Jocks and Taffs.

Before guns men had swords and battle axes. I refused to buy my sons guns to play with as their toys. They constructed them out of whatever they could find. Weapons are a baser need in the male species it is very prominent. My husband and son finally bought a gun for the firing range and it is in my house, they have gone twice. I laugh! When I had underaged children living in my house I preferred not to have guns on site, but now, I don't even think about it being in my home.

I have hopes of a world without weapons, but I don't see it becoming a reality.

Responsible gun ownership happens outside the NRA, and irresponsible gun ownership happens inside the NRA. Do you have proof that no NRA member killed anyone today?
