After listening to Hugo Chavez's speech at the United Nations, the admiring remarks previously made by Obama's Diversity Czar are especially disturbing but not unexpected when they are connected to other quotes that have been attributed to Mark Lloyd. He has described Chavez's rise to power in Venezuela
"an incredible revolution."

This in spite of the fact that the dictator has closed down all the commercial television stations in the country that had supported a short-lived coup again Chavez....

This is another Obama Czar who has to go. I think this is the next one on Beck's list.

Modern Mcarthyism.
Not even close. The government wielded that hammer, not radio and TV analysts. It was the radio and TV analysts who were the targets. We have every responsibility and right to understand the people who the elected leadership puts into power, even if they are appointed by "The One"...

Nothing wrong with Mccarthyism. Do you want communists in the government?

You'd be surprised at the number of people who are for parts of communism. I know I was when I did a little reading on the subject. Of course I'm surprised about a lot of things these days.

the govt was the power then, the media is the power now.

Which is a power not wielded by the government (or it shouldn't be), the reality is the two ideas are not even close to comparable. It's like calling fence lines "fascist".
