They won't have to. They can let the Republicans in Congress do that come January. All the Democrats have to do is not interfere as the Republicans slam Joke and his family for corrupt business practices with his son Bagman taking the lead on that.

There are only 538 electoral votes total- THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

Trump won 232 of them, and Biden won a whopping 302 votes.

You have to only have 270 to win, and Biden had 32 more than he even needed.

That's like an ASS WHOOPING! :laugh: If my memory is correct!

You're right. It had something to do with how the 'winner takes all' state vote works. Biden won 2 or 3 states by 10,000 votes. It was a lot closer of an election than the 7 million more votes will have you believe.

Ah! The dreadful "Winner Takes All States"!

The Democrats have been trying to get the states to do away with that for like over 50 years. It doesn't seem fair does it?

But it's a snake, and can end up biting you in the butt, if you are the one on the short end of the stick in those states.

I think there are only two states that don't have Winner Take all! But there has been interest in other states to do away with it.

I don't have a problem with the Electoral College, But yes, the "Winner-Take-All" sucks and does not reflect Democracy and it allows unpopular people to become president!

Popularity is reflected by the Popular vote! There has only been one election in the last 30 years where the Republican winner of the electoral vote also won the popular vote as well- Bush's 2nd term. It's been a gift horse to the Republicans and an Omen to the Democrats!

Oh well- Que Sera Sera!

My nephew is like that, and I love him to death, but I can't change him. And his politics and outlook on life is about as negative and deranged as Hawkeye's!
