Dissent is highest form of racism.

false analogy as the this lady most likely believes obama was born in kenya....so she in fact not simply saying.....back to africa....she saying back to where she thinks he is born.....specifically KENYA, not africa.....you do know the difference right

Where's Kenya, Yurt?

This is by far the best sign ever made

LOL. I wish he could spell.

I think the sign encompasses more than one idea. I know that you are limited to only one, but that doesn't mean she was. I think the person believes he is from Kenya, and that he is trying to muck in our health care. I wouldn't have stood next to the person during the protest, but I don't believe that the person thinks that every black person is a "witch doctor"...

You do not have to belive that all black people are witch doctors to be racist. You can see that because you would not have stood next to her. It is racist to promote the fear that because his ancestors are from Africa he will promote substandard healthcare akin to witch doctory!

What do you have against traditional medicine?

I think this is BS. I wouldn't stand next to them because I don't believe that Obama is from Kenya. M'eh. It doesn't really matter. They are the minority of those who were at the protest and I am glad for that.

If you believed I was from Africa, then it wouldn't be. It would be silly though. There is no controversy about where I was born.

There is about as much reasonable contraversy about where you were born as there is about where Obama was born. Dukakis's parents were from Grease (both of them), they did not make a stink suggesting that he was really born in Europe, I wonder why its different in this situation?

Again foolish. There is a group who believes the man to be born in Kenya. Their signs reflect that, not an urge for all black people to go anywhere.

They told a black guy to go back to fucking Africa and you're defending it. AMAZING.

If they showed up with white hoods and an Obama effigy in a noose you'd say they just believed he was born in a noose and that white represents purity, therefore it wasn't racist.

damo is using a tactic i used to do a lot
he's parsing his words very carefully, and nothing he is saying is TECHNICALLY wrong
or racist

but he's turning a blind eye to the main issue and he's being intellectually dishonest

I think this is BS. I wouldn't stand next to them because I don't believe that Obama is from Kenya.

Then why the caption, "Obama Care", just a coicendence? With the photo she was making a comment about where he was born, but the words were completly unconnected?

M'eh. I don't think there was a suggestion by his Grandmother that she was at the European hospital watching his birth. Many of the "birthers" truly believe that Obama was not born here.

Again, the sign is about two things. Why must you make me repeat what I have stated before? Do you in fact have any form of memory beyond what you want to hear?

I would not. You are now just building whatever straw man you want to argue. I did notice that there were no effigies of Obama in a noose, unlike many photos that can be shown with Bush in just such effigy.
