Dissecting Krugmans idiocy

canceled.2021.1

#AMERICAISDEAD
So this is what passes for esteemed economic thought in liberal circles these days?

Krugman contradicts himself in his own op ed arguing for higher minimum wage.

He states that setting a minimum wage of $20/hour would be bad, but setting it at $9/hour would not. But, he doesn't explain why.

Can any of his adherents explain why $11/hour more would be bad if the goal of the minimum wage is to lift someone out of poverty?

Hell I will even forgo my usual ban list (although Howey is banned) for a broader array of insights

My guess is that other than the obligatory Groan from The Dude, libs will avoid this like Jessee Jackson seeing BAC walking down the street behind him at 1am.

Really smart take.

Pro tip: This spring when you fertilize your lawn you should ignore the manufacturers recommendations and use, like eleventy times the recommended amount. I mean, if a little fertizilizer is good . . . This advice also applies to the prescription medications that you seem to have stopped taking.

Love the snark.

But explain why $9 is good and $20 is bad? If $20 is bad, what about $15? Why not $19?

Want to try again?

LOL, Dungheap uses some false equivalence to dodge the question.

Yes, too much income might be an issue!

LOL

Why can't you explain how $9/hour is better than $20/hour if that's what you believe?
The answer is that you don't believe it. You knowingly support shit you don't believe.

Of course making minimum wage $20 would be great for unskilled workers. The problem is that most products and services that would rely on this workforce would have to increase their prices to be able to sustain operations.

You know this is the problem, but you're too vested in supporting mr. krugman, so you must take one for the team and look like an ignorant dumbshit.

I'm skipping a klansman take on an expert economist.
This assclown shorted the market early January.
No wonder he's poor

They could also take less profit. We are tlking companies like Walmart, they are the ones who employ 2/3 of the minumim wage workers.
