If you live in Florida you've put up with that, all Florida is is flat, strip malls, boulevards, gated communities, and chain stores, and don't tell me you've haven't pissed away time waiting at traffic lights. Floridians like to project it as one big Key West, but in reality, it resembles Pleasantville

It brings $5 billion in taxes to the state, do you really believe that won’t have an impact on all Florida residents? 50 million visitors, do you think that won’t make a difference. When we went to Orlando, on our way we side tripped and saw other Florida towns. I imagine we aren’t the only ones who do that.

when I moved here in 1999 the population was about 16 million. Now it's about 23 million (give or take)

Blue states are losing population (NY specifically on the east coast) and we are gaining
Congressional and electoral college votes (30 next time)
