Attempting to claim that because the other side does something which is wrong, then that makes it OK to do the same thing is merely an attempt to claim that two wrongs make a right. That was never true.

Matching wrong with wrong is the act of lowering oneself to the level of wrong and using whataboutism to try to justify it, which it doesn't.

Because Trump was an asshole who treated people badly, Biden is not. No matter how much you dislike him, you have to admit he is respectful in the way he treats people.
You cannot deny there is a HUGE different in the way Biden treats people and the way TRUMP does. You wont treat Trump with the same disrespect you give to Biden.

We owe them nothing. They wallow in their own creation. That is justly deserved and sufficient enough.

Giving trolls any attention at all is too much of a reward. Treating them as if they simply do not exist is the worst thing for them. Denying them the attention they crave is the one thing they fear the most. Getting no reaction at all.

All they want is some kind of reaction. Denying that leaves you with all the power, and them with none. Their words are unheard, useless, powerless. As if they were never said. They might as well be nothing. And nothing is what they deserve. That is precisely what we owe them.

Trolls should be marginalized/invisible while respectful people carry on functional conversations and have their words heard and respected with a response.
