I dont have a problem with gas station hiring a private armed guard ..I have a problem with the""' FORCED TO HIRE!""" This goes against what anti gun nuts gun nuts have been peaching all along!
 
It's a bill that won't pass but it does speak to how poorly the City is doing its most basic job of keeping people safe. Many business owners/HOA's will pay for additional security on their own accord but that's different than the government forcing you to do so.

The reason that the gun crime situation has gotten out of hand is because of lax gun laws, that allow criminals to easily procure firearms, which has led to increase gun violence and crimes.

not in chicago, trumpet. Illinois is a top 5 state for strictest gun laws in the nation and don't bother trotting out the indiana gun pipeline bullshit.

isn't that whats happening right now? I'm from Illinois and probably hate chicago more than anyone, except for their pizza, but the ONLY thing this law will accomplish is forcing small business out of chicago. maybe that's for the best.

why do consider American citizens unqualified and/or mentally impaired? what is it about government agents that lead you to believe they are better individuals/entities than citizens?
 
This is an open admission of the failure of the Democratic leadership in Chicago to protect its citizens.
