Gas is up another almost 2 cents from yesterday.
and 4 .2 cents for Diesel.
IMO this is going to hurt a lot of people with higher prices and do some real damage to the economy

I've got a van that will run e85 but fuel efficiency drops by 20-25%.

Right now e85 is about 30% less in my area so that's what I'm running in it.

Gasoline in a diesel can cause a runaway which is catastrophic but even if it doesn't it will wash the cylinder walls and kill the compression rings in pretty short order. Again, enough of it and it will just fail to run.

And it will smoke like a bitch.
My dad added some by mistake one time and lucky it wasn't more then a gallon , the engine ran but like I said smoked and I am sure it didn't do it any good.
