The problem is that you are holding me, other Catholics, Dems, liberals etc. to a different standard than you hold conservatives. You are claiming to know what's in the hearts and minds of Pelosi, Biden and me, and that's unknowable. Y O U are doing exactly what you're accusing me of doing, judging me and others for perceived sins. That means you talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
Going by your words, people don't need to have ideological purity to be supported by liberals, either. Nobody I've supported had every single position I wanted and that includes Obama, Hillary, Bernie or Joe. What I do know is that my political positions are strongly aligned with those of the Democratic party, and that doesn't mean I'm marching in lockstep, just that we want the same things for the country.
Of course I know people vote because they don't want a certain person to be elected, we saw that with trump. I myself could not ignore all of my beliefs and issues to vote for someone diametrically opposite just because I don't like that politician who does hold my views. That would be voting against my interests. It's why I believe many trump voters support a cult of personality rather than closely examine his background, beliefs, and decision-making.
I didn't vote for Hillary because she was the anti-trump, but because she was the candidate most closely-aligned with me on the issues I care about. Had another Dem won the nomination I would have voted for that person because there's absolutely no way I can support the conservative vision for the country.

Biden and Pelosi say that in their personal lives they are against abortion but as politicians they are supporting the law. Our senator Bob Casey Jr. is also against abortion but supports the law, and I VOTED FOR HIM.
Repub scumbag and leggiecrite-defined hypocrite Brett Kavanaugh claims to be anti-abortion but said that RvW is "settled law." Unsurprising that you haven't criticized this Catholic for his views.
