Detention Centers

Magas think that just crossing the border makes you illegal. They don't differentiate between entering at checkpoints or sneaking over. They dehumanize all of them.
Christie Christie Christie. Stop lying. We differentiate people from entering illegally from people entering legally. If you violate our laws to enter or stay in the US you are illegal if you don't violate our laws to enter or stay in our country you are legal. For example if you swim across the Rio Grande to enter the US you are illegal. If you fly into the US on a Visa and then violate the terms of that Visa you are illegal. Illegals are humans but they are aliens to the US and are here illegally thus they are illegal aliens. Even federal laws that the Democrats helped to pass refers to them as illegal aliens.

You don't understand the nuance of language and you prove it every day. Read the posts of the magas and every single one of them talks about "illegals crossing the border," or my favorite, "Biden let in millions of illegals." Magas never talk about those who come in at checkpoints and go through the process of being allowed to stay here.

And you have never told a lie in your life.:rofl2: :
Yep, sure have. I’ve lied to cover up a personal fuckup or to protect someone’s feelings. On this forum, however, that does not apply. There is no reason to lie with the frequency and intensity of you fucking MAGATs, nor certainly not with that of Trump.

Jabba the Orange is the most prolific liar I have seen in my lifetime. And you fucks follow his lead.

Yes Biden let in thousands of illegals by not enforcing federal laws so aliens took advantage of that lack of enforcement. The laws are still the law even if they aren't being enforced. It is like a land owner with no trespassing sign. Just because he might not call the cops on you does not make trespassing legal. Again people that come here legally and don't violate our laws to stay here are LEGAL. Glad I could clear up your confusion.

Unless they are stupid, demented or mentally ill.....which often seems to be the case.

Fastlane is gaslighting again. No one is stopping enforcement at the border at all. Certainly not Democrats.
Then why did illegal entry into the US slow to a trickle when Trump told the CBP to enforce our laws.

A 2024 report from the House Oversight Committee alleged that the administration failed to detain most individuals who entered the country illegally during removal proceedings. A related memo from the Department of Homeland Security stated that the "fact an individual is a removable alien" was not, on its own, a sufficient basis for an enforcement action.

^ And there's that language thing again, Biden let in "illegals." I thought illegals were people who sneaked in without going through the checkpoints. If Biden "let them in" then it wasn't illegal. They can become illegal if they enter legally but then disappear without going through their hearings, etc. But that's not the same as crossing the river or climbing the fence.

As I said just because the President might not enforce a certain law does not mean it is legal to violate that law. Congress passes laws the Presidents job is to enforce those laws. Only Kings get to decide not to enforce a law. No Kings

I don't know what you're trying to say here. U.S. law says that a certain number of people are permitted to enter annually. I suspect the situation is a lot more complicated than you're trying to make it seem.

The United States allows up to 675,000 permanent immigrant visas each year across various categories, not including the unlimited number of visas available for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens. Additionally, there are no numerical limits on certain non-immigrant visas for tourists, students, and temporary workers. americanimmigrationcouncil.org PRB

Ms. Fatlame doesn't know either. Too much meth smoking on her melon farm in Milam, TX. :)

Asylum seekers aren't illegal.

There is no fixed limit on the number of asylum seekers who can enter the U.S. each year, as they can apply for asylum after arriving in the country. However, the U.S. government sets an annual refugee admissions cap, which was 125,000 for fiscal year 2025, but this does not directly limit asylum applications. americanimmigrationcouncil.org rescue.org

See, Fastlane is a Norbit. Rushbo was right when he said "words have meaning" while Fastlane Norbit gives them new meaning every posting.

He didn't say "asylum seekers", and the Biden administration's June 2024 rule (89 Fed. Reg. 44918, codified at 8 C.F.R. §§ 208.13, 1208.13, and 208.30 et seq.), imposed presumptive ineligibility for asylum if daily southwest border encounters exceed 2,500 (with exceptions for unaccompanied minors, trafficking victims, or lawful entrants).
