Immigration and Customs Enforcement has recorded its deadliest year since the early 2000s as agency officials push to increase the number of people in its custody.

According to a review of deaths by NPR, at least 20 people have died in ICE custody so far this year. The number comes as ICE is also holding nearly 60,000 people in immigration detention, the highest number in several years.

Question, by year, how many people were in ICE custody? Your article says:

You see, I'm curious. What is the death rate per X number of persons in detention by year. The article doesn't say, and that smells like week old rotten fish to me.

Illegal entry into this country is merely a misdemeanor, usually handled as a civil penalty. A fine.

All of this shit over mostly misdemeanors. The fascists love their camps.

So? That's only if that's your only offense. It rarely is for someone who wasn't caught crossing the border at the border and has been in the US for any long period of time.

No, all this shit over serious felons usually with multiple crimes and felonies on their record.

Aside from that, you didn't answer the question I posed: What's the rate per inmate in those detention centers?

Of course the more people in custody the more that die in custody. The more not in custody the more that die not in custody. So what?

Then fucking arrest the felons with multiple crimes and deport or imprison them.

The ICE fuckers are terrorizing communities with people here just to work. Non-felons.
