Seriously though, I was on my wife's policy until last year, when the premiums skyrocketed due to ObamaCare and they were required to cut benefits or go bankrupt. As a self-employed individual, when this happened my professional group insurer had just left the state for the same reason: Obamacare. My current policy is about 1/4 the cost of what ObamaCare was offering at the time. Granted my deductible is higher, $10k vs. $7k, so I will/ would have never used either, but my network providers give me cash discounts on routine services that I do use.

The ACA is a bad law. Unfortunately the current GOP bill isn't any better. But either way, I have found a way to basically opt out of all the bullshit and have health insurance that is what it should be- for catastrophic only coupled with free-market shopping, instead of what it has become for most, a very expensive billing service.

Easier said than done for sure, especially as many companies are cutting costs etc..

Perhaps after trump De-Mexicanize & de-Muslimizes the country there will be more opportunity for those to lazy to bother to look for better employment...:rolleyes:
