I don't particularly like U2. As far as Bono, I haven't feelings one way or another. I can say that he doesn't strike me as a limousine liberal. He has put up his own money and time and does seem to be principled as evidenced by his praising Bush over Clinton with regards to AIDS in Africa.

That tells me he is committed to the principle of his cause over the politics. Basically the opposite of most lefties here.

In the final analysis if someone is going to extoll the virtues of the free market, I am going to applaud them
