Turds like DeSantis are a symptom, not a cause of our failures.

We have lots of people who actually vote for garbage like that.

DeSantis appears to have no political instinct whatsoever. He is just full speed ahead with the MAGA crap, thinking that somehow it's popular with someone other than the Trump cultists. The resign and run law ends July 1st. I will put good money on DeSantis declaring on the 4th. It's the typical sledgehammer move that is DeSantis's go to. And the he can tell us how Jesus has anointed him. And Trump will have a new nickname for him by the end of the day.

They want a national abortion ban. They have lied about their goals from day one. Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Barrett all LIED in their confirmation hearings. Every one of them committed a felony. Thomas is completely compromised, as is Alito. The inmates are in charge of the asylum. If you give Republicans any power, they will abuse it. It's time to active and to vote. America is fed up. 2024 is going to be a massacre.

there is no advancing as a Conservative judge anymore without the Federalist Society putting you on a list and giving it as the 'approved' list to the Politicians who nominate the Judges to the various positions.

And the Federalist Society spends years prior with their people meeting with and reading the writings and positions of any judge they forward. You must be vehemently anti abortion, and vehemently pro business (against regulation), and vehemently pro billionaires and money in politics.

If you do not tick those boxes you simply will not advance as a conservative Judge. They have captured the Judiciary on the right.


What they are doing now, is putting in the youngest and dumbest judges they can find. the equivalent of putting in Marjorie Greene or Boebert. That is because they are ideologues and so dumb they simply think the law does not apply to them and they can do whatever they want (see Judge Aileen Cannon or Matthew Kacsmaryk). Also dumb people will feel more grateful and beholding to the person who put them in to the job they know they would not have got otherwise.

Sadly, they did this right under our noses and we let them get away with it. It's going to take a lot of undoing, but I think the work has started. Republicans have proven to be way better at grass roots politics than Dems.
