Biden did not campaign on building the Wall, so using that measure alone to say Trump succeeded is stupid.

By you logic if Trump told US citizens he was 'going to build the wall', and took Billions upon billions of tax payer money to do so, and squandered and wasted it, building little to nothing, and giving citizens terrible value for their tax payer dollars, you would still say 'but ya Biden built zero, so i will take Trump wasting Billions to give us a few feet'.

And that is largely what happened and even the most conservative pundits are now admitting Trumps pledges on the wall were largely theater and a waste of time and money that did little to nothing.

Let me ask you this. Why do you not instead care about results?

How effective has Trumps wall ACTUALLY BEEN at stopping migrant flow? How much has it benefited Biden?

So now that happens. Farms cannot find cheap migrant labor and must pay significantly to entice Americans into the fields.

Will then American citizens pay significantly more in the grocery stores for fruits and veggies, that say 'picked by American workers', when right beside at a fraction of the cost is fruit and veggies grown in Mexico and south america, with their farming booming now, sending ever more produce as the American product prices are so high?


So what is the end result. Significant inflation in America due to the cost of this labor skyrocketing and the price of these staple goods skyrocketing. And then the loss of these farms (and many other industries) where American labor cannot compete.

The republiclowns will then blame Dems for that too as they cannot foresee what 2+2 equals, and thus they do not connect the 'cause' and 'result' that happen over time.

The (R)s cannot win on this issue unless they agree to sit down at the table like adults, with the (D)s, and hammer out an immigration policy that won't strain local economies but will allow workers in on a temporary basis, with safeguards in place to ensure that they return to their homelands once their employment is done. Workers in other fields like hospitality, landscaping, construction that are year-round could have other requirements.

You are right about the outrage if prices of food get even higher because no one is harvesting crops, or growers are paying more for wages. I recall when I was a kid my mom being upset that the price of grapes and other fruit went up when Cesar Chavez organized the farm workers in t he 60s. She quit buying them.

But they will not sit at the table as many 'R', especially those in the "freedom caucus' want to break America. They have given up on being able to win hearts and minds and win elections and realize they will continue to lose power on the current path, so they hope to break the system, send the US into a period of anarchy and hope for a Putin like, Trump like, leader to be able to emerge from that, that they believe will reflect their values and impose them regardless of vote.

Why do you think that most of Trumps most vocal supporters of the Wall, and the loudest advocate for a Wall now mock his actions in that regard as a failure?

Again you seem to have a view that even if Trump spend $1Trillion to build one inch, you will simply say 'it is one inch more than the other guy... thus good for him'.

Is it fair to say you only care about the politically rivalry aspect and not about any competency in actually getting anything done? DO you think that is why you differ so much from Trumps former supporters who are so critical of him squandering so much on this effort?
