Thanks Lil Ron Ron. Just so you know, you can stop now, you have no chance to EVER be President.

I'm personally already seeing the impact of this; the company I hired to do my driveway pavers cancelled the contract because they lost almost their entire labor force. A favorite restaurant of ours was closed Sunday evening, they have had to reduce hours because of their labor shortage. Once this law goes into effect, hotels, restaurants, service companies, roofers, etc will experience a huge loss of labor. All so DeSantis can maintain his dream of being the next white supremacist President.

"A new Florida law cracking down on undocumented immigrants, signed last month by far-right Gov. Ron DeSantis and set to take effect on July 1, has pushed thousands of workers to flee the state.
Now even some capitalists who otherwise support DeSantis and the state's GOP-controlled House and Senate are beginning to speak out about how the law is likely to hurt their bottom lines."

Tell them to come here legally

In his packing plant, Graves Williams, a lifelong Republican, proudly explained the skill, labor, and manpower needed to provide tomatoes across North America, a feat that he says wouldn't be possible without immigrant laborers.

"We all love them to death," said Williams, whose family has been farming tomatoes for decades. "We couldn't run a business without them."
Williams, the owner of Quincy Tomato Company, may soon be forced to try. Following right-wing lawmakers' passage of Senate Bill 1718, thousands of working-class immigrants, including many who are residing lawfully in the U.S., have opted to leave Florida.

Not sure how this new law is “new”.
Whenever I hired an employee they had to show documentation that they had a SSN.

That is good now all those not working can get jobs the illegals stole

How will they grow tomatoes when minimuim wage is $15? If they pay that they will not need illegals. No jobs and the illegals will leave

Tell them to come here legally

A. - you republi'cans' do not want them to be accepted legally. Even legal paths are being targeted to be shut down by Republicans
B. - some do not want to be permanently here. They just want to come in, pick some tomato's and other do other labour and go back home. Labour that is needed desperately only for a short season, so for the employer it is best to have them briefly and send them home.

Republi'cans' are just too dumb to see that it is often win/win to let the bulk of them in and then let them go home.

So we need 11 million illegals to pick tomatoes?

By the way, that number doesn’t really change that much meaning that most are staying here, not going back

The far Right is quite clear headed about this. If the choice is between ruin and ideological command always choose ruin.

I don't have to know what the exact number is. Employers in many sectors across Florida are in a panic and going to government meetings and letting them know they are in trouble.

Trump himself at many of his hotels and properties relies on illegal migrant workers.

What do you do when you have a large number of jobs that tend to pay so little that Americans do not want to do them? The republi'can' answer across many States seems to be 'keep moving the age of the eligible workers down and hope younger and younger children might do them'.

Republi'cans' assume, maybe rightly, that because young kids do not have bills to pay, an hourly wage that would not be sustainable for an adult with bills may still motivate a child to go out and do back breaking work, for what is play money.

That is the republi'can' America. An increase in child labor similar to how it was decades and decades ago. MAGA.

Exactly his message to them.

Well, no, Marty.

Since President Biden took office, around 5.5 million illegal aliens have crossed our borders—a crisis of epic proportions.

The Biden borders are open, intentionally and the Democrat sanctuary cities are still there.

Poor Marty.

Wouldn't it be better to work out a bipartisan plan to allow these workers to become documented and legal? The (R)s control the U.S. House; why aren't they putting forth some solutions, rather than whining about nonexistent "problems" like trans athletes and CRT and Hunter Biden?

Why should illegals be allowed to become documented and legal?

They are supposed to be arrested and deported. It's the law.

Well, yes, dumbo.

Since it didn't get through the first time: the message is foreign nationals who want to live and work in Florida must be here lawfully.

remember when the demmycunts used to say the way to deal with illegal immigrants was to go after the people who employed them?.....

remember when the demmycunts used to say the way to deal with illegal immigrants was to go after the people who employed them?.....

Indeed I do remember.

In the past, the foreign worker situation worked beautifully.

They came here for the harvest on temporary visas, stayed til it was over and returned to their countries.

The far left Democratic Socialist loons saw a way to harvest illegals for their votes. Everything went south then.

not true......agricultural workers can easily get a seasonal work visa......then they would not be here illegally......
