DeSantis puts logic over political grandstanding

It's not "grandstanding." There is a reason that high-profile politicians are getting vaccinated on television, for all to see - to reassure the public that this is safe and that everyone should do it.
 
He’s just a grandstander, probably already had it, he knows Trump is coming back to his State and will be a political influence there during his tenure so he ain’t doing anything to piss off the Messiah

Not everyone is a lemming that needs to be shown what to do by politicians.

Also, Einstein, if all the elderly would be vaccinated we could open back up because they are the most vulnerable and it would take pressure off the hospitals. That focus was his point.

There is no logic in your post.

Sure, not EVERYONE is a lemming - but many are, as witnessed by the Trump phenomenon.

That's why it's important to have high-profile figures getting the vaccine, visibly. People in the healthcare field are practically begging for this. It's not for the non-lemmings - it's for the lemmings.

That ignores reality.

There are MANY who do not trust this vaccine - anti-vaxxers, and others who think it was too rushed. It doesn't help when people like Carlson are out there saying that people should have doubts.

It absolutely, 100% makes a difference for many who are hesitant to see leaders and other high-profile figures getting this vaccine. That's actually not disputable, at all.

No vaccine is 100% safe for one. Two, they are really just trying to get your minds off the fact they gave all your money to other countries and special interests and literally gave you crumbs. And you are falling for it.

No vaccine is 100% safe. But we know for sure that no virus is 100% safe.

People have to get a vaccine. I'm sure some won't, but we need to hit a threshold as a population, or it won't matter.

Miami Beach police have released body cam footage and photos from an incident last month involving former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, two men and three baggies of crystal meth found inside their Miami Beach hotel room.

The body cam footage was heavily redacted, with blurred images and no sound.

The photos, 26 in all, show the inside of the hotel room, the baggies of drugs and a pillow covered with what appears to be vomit.

Police were called to the Mondrian South Beach hotel at 11:07 p.m. March 12 after one of the men said he walked into room 1107 and found Gillum vomiting in the bathroom and the other man in possible cardiac arrest on the bed, according to the police report.

That man was taken to the hospital and treated for a possible drug overdose.

Officers found three plastic baggies of crystal meth on the bed and floor of the hotel room, the police report said.
