That is illegal now in Florida. It must go through "media specialist", who must risk imprisonment if a judge decides that anything in the books are "woke". And they have some crazy judges in Florida.

It's illegal for a teacher to get personal donations? I highly doubt that would be a problem unless the books are completely unacceptable and their use is brought to the attention of either a parent or administrator.....But that being said, teachers are always grateful for donations and if the books need to be evaluated, so be it...
I'm sure it won't be a problem...
The books I received would not have been appropriate classroom books...and will be offered to interested individuals... other teachers or parents...
