Well then, you are wrong. I would expect some proportion to be and some proportion to be legal citizens who got it via illegal immigrants. I'd also expect some cases to be internally generated. The obvious takeaway is we should be sealing the southern border and letting no illegals in right now in order to maintain control over the spread of this disease.

Given the estimates I've seen on the proportion of illegals with Chinese Disease being between about 6% and 30% (some sources claim 50% but that's almost certainly high) that means right now Biden's let in somewhere between 60,000 and 300,000 active cases among illegal crossers. Even if we take the 60,000 as the number, that's a medium sized city's worth of active cases spread across the US. Is there any wonder why we're facing a new outbreak?

Just a deflection off of the mess DeSantis has led Florida to, when guilty, blame the other guy, the base always buys it

Desantis was told his policies when opening up, downplaying the virus, and encouraging people to skip the shot was going to cause a mess and it has. We know who did this and he is running for president as soon as he can. Desantis was told clearly what he was doing was wrong. He did not care. A few thousand dead Floridians are no big deal to him.
