The Russian aggression against Ukraine wasn't as easily predicted. Putin must be insane to have thought it would work. Regardless, the global economic impact is hitting everyone. Some worse than others. Self-assured people know the whole world is suffering. The victim mentality people only think about themselves.

Totally agree. Still trying to figure out why American Oil companies are not producing even more now that they have the Barrel price up there where they wanted it all along! I figure they will after the midterms. American Oil companies are not acting on over 3300 current leases they have now.
I think they owe America an explanation for that! And why is diesel a buck higher than gasoline? That's on them!

The truth is, even when Gasoline was $2 a gallon- It was expensive. That is why Democrats have always looked at alternatives to Gasoline to power vehicles.
Electric cars go all the way back to 1832, but became popular and practical in America in the 1890's - 1920s. Henry Ford eventually created the Model T and it sold for 1/3rd the cost of an electric car and ended up becoming the standard for automobiles in America. Then the Oil Magnates took over and became the largest companies in America- and Americans got drunk on their Gasoline.
So the Oil companies want to keep us drunk- And the Democrats are trying to SOBER us back up!
