Not much difference - they both mean much the same. Coerce perhaps has a slight connotation of the pressure being put on someone being a little more indirect, more subtle - but still effective. Force is quite blunt and straightforward - they both result in someone being made to do something against their will.

Actually, more & more people are realizing that Trump lied about fraud in 2020. There aren't many still claiming it, except those on the fringe & who are truly in the cult.

Coercion for all practical reasons is the same as force - although a few brave souls stood upto the unConstitutional and ineffective mandate, by and large coercion was all the force needed

Why do people keep talking like Republicans will save the day?

They've had their shot, many times. When was the last time a Republican was actually good for the economy? You have to go back to Reagan's 1st term.

Otherwise, every single Republican President has left the economy in worse shape than when they started. Inconvenient truth.

fine by me. Im not crazy about partisanship but this is war with Progressive maniacs who want to destroy the institutions (defund the police /pack SCOTUS/ get off fossil fuel) so Im a Republican
as a flag of convenience. . I was a Dem for a long time, if they get rid of the nutcases -
including Biden governing as a Prog - ill look at them again

It's like Liz Cheney said, she will do all in her power to make Trump or a Trump like person as in DeSantis, comes nowhere close to the white-house again?!! I totally agree with her on that, the last thing this country needs is a despot, dictator, or fringe crackpot as president of the U.S.?!!
