DeSantis Announces 20 People Have Been Arrested on Felony Election Fraud

No, there's no voter fraud!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday that 20 serious felons will face arrest for allegedly illegally voting in the state’s elections.
“The state of Florida has charged and is in the process of arresting 20 individuals across the state for voter fraud,” DeSantis said at a news conference.
DeSantis and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are identifying those charged as convicted murderers and sex offenders who voted without receiving restoration of voting rights from the governor.

If one really looked into this, they would realize how bogus the OP is.

Felons were overwhelming voted by the state of Florida to have their voting rights returned. Many were encouraged and recruited to register to vote.

Two caveats. DeSantis came in later to sign a bill to require that all of their fees and fines be paid up. Something that is often extremely difficult to know. There is no central database for them to access for them to determine so. Also, by that time, many had already registered to vote. Second, there was a provision that felony sex offenders and murders be excluded.

So, the claim that he’s chasing down these fraudulent voters and reinforcing the RW idea of massive voter fraud is just another case of misinformation.
 
So far, all of the HANDFUL of voter fraud cases that have been uncovered and arrests made, have involved people who cast fraudulent votes FOR TRUMP.

The article states that the arrests were made in "Democrat strongholds", but doesn't say which party or candidates the votes were cast in favor of. I'm guessing they were cast FOR REPUBLICANS by some typical angry, pissed off pro-Trump goofballs like the rest of the ones caught so far.

And even if they end up catching another 20 or another 40, given the MILLIONS OF VOTES cast in any state, it would STILL NOT BE A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM THAT COULD SWAY THE OUTCOME OF AN ELECTION!!!

DeSantis is just engaging in the kind of political demagoguery and grandstanding he has become known for because Trump proved to us all that the rubes who vote for rabid, big-mouthed, chest-thumping right-wingers, eat up that kind of shit like kids in a candy store.

If DeSantis truly means to put election fraud people in jail...there must be a ton of Republicans shitting their pants.

What a realist and someone with more intellectual curiosity than you finds is that the so-called election fraud you want so much to find is not in this story. Just felons mistakenly thinking they could legally vote. Nothing more.

I saw 2 buses of migrant farm workers load up to go vote by pure accident one day.

Figure out how the Democrats have been farming votes from illegals is a good idea!

In 2016 they had caravans of minivans packed with out of state blacks. 9 minivans with maximum capacity is what I saw.

The county I'm in went blue, too.

Somehow the Dem cheating method depends on urban areas.

No one ever said there was "no voter fraud." There are dozens and sometimes hundreds of cases of individual fraud. The gov't keeps a website on all of the verified cases, every election. We're a nation of 350 million or so, so elections are hardly perfect.

There is no MASSIVE fraud, or coordinated fraud. Unless you count things like the fake electors Republicans tried to use, or a sitting President trying to reverse the results in a whole state by pressuring an election official to "find votes."
