feb 1 2024 A majority of House Democrats opposed legislation this week aimed at denying admission or deporting foreign nationals who have been convicted of or admitted to specific crimes, including Social Security fraud and driving under the influence.
On Wednesday, 155 Democrats voted against deporting illegal aliens who commit social security fraud and Thursday morning, 150 Democrats voted to not deport illegal aliens convicted of drunk driving.
“What the heck is going on?!” a seemingly perplexed Elon Musk commented on his platform.
In a press release earlier this month, Congressman Moore noted that “in 2023 alone, there were over 13,384 impaired driving fatalities and 400,000 injuries” in the United States.
“This issue hits close to home for me,” Moore said. “There was a newlywed couple from my hometown of Enterprise named Angel and Jeremy Seay, I knew this couple personally. Angel and Jeremy were riding their motorcycle together when out of nowhere an illegal immigrant under the influence of alcohol plowed into them with his pick-up truck. Their lives were cut short, and unfortunately tragedies like this one are not uncommon across our country.”
