Wouldn't say they own Congress, rather one body of Congress, and the Senate still is the stronger entity, but for the first time in two years the Legislative Branch of the Government will be doing one of the roles they were designed to do, and that is overseeing the Executive Branch rather than endorsing it

All true! But WE will take a couple of victory laps as 41 seats is a nice HAUL! Frankly, at this time and place, taking back the gavel is less important than having SUBPOENA power that goes with it.

Absolutely. BUT, I'll bet my next breath, he is still worried about COHEN first for the BUSINESS and FLYNN first for his and the kids TREASON. He has 2 concurrent equally destructive CASES wending their way through 2 systems against him. And that's even BEFORE the House gavels in tomorrow.

His sphincter responses are probably around the clock. He might be sporting Depends by now.

Filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi had high praise for her mother's negotiating skills on Wednesday during an interview with CNN, warning that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) would "cut your head off and you won’t even know you’re bleeding.”

In an interview on "New Day," the younger Pelosi was asked about her thoughts about her mother's shutdown discussions with President Trump ahead of the president's meeting with congressional leaders on Wednesday at the White House.

“She’ll cut your head off and you won’t even know you’re bleeding,” Alexandra Pelosi said of the likely incoming House speaker. "No one ever won betting against Nancy Pelosi. You've got to give her credit, no matter what you think of her."

Pointing to her mother's longstanding House service through several presidencies, Pelosi added to the CNN anchors that it should "make you sleep at night" that "at least somebody in this town know's what they're doing."

I think some of these people like I HATE AMERICA who think the Democrats cannot get anything done because they only control the House...

...should keep their eyes open.

The House Democrats are going to show you people what governance is about.

The Republicans were in complete control in Washington for the last two years...and they could not get legislation passed saying, "It is advised that when rain is falling, you either come indoors or open an umbrella."

Republicans are incompetent...they have no idea of how to govern. And govern, one must, in order for civilization to survive.

Nancy Pelosi will show you people how it is done.

And after bitching and moaning and pretending to care about the debt, their first move is going to be to effectively eliminate the debt ceiling by automatically extending it whenever the House passes a budget and making it nearly impossible to remove Queen Nancy from the speakership.
