Dems hit 1st night out of the park

I thought Elizabeth Warren was the weakest primetime moment. Not a bad speech, but she should have gone first, followed by Michelle Obama & Booker.

Bernie hit all the right notes. What a leader; not easy for him to do, I'm sure, but the Clinton campaign had to be thrilled w/ his speech.

They already talked about more specific policy & ideas than Republicans did the entire week. The contrast is pretty extraordinary.

They even had some great warm up speakers.

Doesn't Bernie essentially give the same speech over and over? (Revolution, big banks, free school and health care)

What a surprise Thingy the ultimate Crooked Hillary supporter thinks that.

I could never have predicted it. He was probably masturbating to Moochelles speech

I look forward to the release of the next batch of emails

Russia: Doing the job Comey didn't have the balls to do

I liked Corey Booker and Elizabeth Warren speeches, Michelle Obama speech was the bomb!
Bernie Sanders speech was very good too, and I hope it brings together his hardcore supporters to Hillary too!

He very sincerely tied everything to Clinton & endorsing her. I thought he did as well as he could to try to mend fences between the supporters.

The 1st part of the speech, his supporters were going nuts, and I thought there was a chance he could go all Cruz.

That 11 year old girl was adorable, but at the same time I am too cynical to think of it as anything besides propaganda. That's what it read to me. A prop. An adorable prob none the less. On a side note I don't know why authorities don't deport her mom. Immigrants are apparently living in fear and in the shadows but they feel comfortable enough to go on stage in front of millions of people. OOOk.

Corey Bookers speech - I am sure you liberals ate it up. I guess you could call it conventionally good but for me it still was just boilerplate. I don't need three analogies every sentence. Reminds me of the simpsons quote: "We must move forwards, not backwards, upwards, not forwards, and twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom."

Michele Obama's speech was good. I think she was the best of the night. I've always liked her. She doesn't deserve half the shit she gets from people. I have no idea why people hate her.

Elizabeth warren - meh.

Bernie Sanders - He made a decent case for his bernie bros to support hillary, though it remains to be seen if they buy into it.

capital R russia had nothing to do with the hack. That's DNC propaganda to make you dismiss it out of hand. If retard Hillary didn't have her private server with no security this wouldn't be an issue.

Good breakdown. You're right about Booker's speech - I did end up loving it. It kind of snuck up on me. For awhile, I was just casually watching & thought it was going a little long, but then he really pulled me in the last 5-10 minutes. I thought it was a career-making kind of speech in the end, and the Dems will definitely try to groom him for bigger things.

Michelle was awesome, and Bernie rocks because he's so authentic and such a true believer. They interviewed a few of his supporters afterward, and they didn't seem to be buying it, but it was a small sample.

I had been looking forward to Warren's speech, but it fell flat, imo. Not memorable.

i think clinton should feel lucky she didnt have to go on stage this night. If she appeared on day 1 like trump she would have gotten booed. The fact that bernie or bust was mentioned on stage by sarah silverman shows you what a tough night this was. The email dump overshadowed everything.

Completely agree on your analysis..and also about the "propaganda" on immigration. well stated.
quite a disconnect to reality there.

should have specified, an illegal immigrant. If she is so worried about shipped off to mexico she wouldn't be on stage at the DNC Convention in front of the entire world. It's that simple. The message is disconnected from the reality of what was in front of us. That's the stuff people need to pay attention to.

I think I heard it mentioned twice. And I watched coverage on MSNBC, CNN and Fox all night.
