Demography as destiny for Democrats?

Without reading it, the general theory I always hear is that Dems assume a prevailing attitude across generations, when history shows that subsequent generations assimilate into the general public, and many of them drift to the GOP and conservatism.

Maybe that's why they push people today not to assimilate and consider calling America a melting pot a micro aggression.
 
part of it is also that the left has taken control of educational institutions so over and above demographics you have the left training the future generations to be liberal. Which is why they are especially fearful of anyone like Milo or even Pewdiepie who gets a large audience from that demographic and gives them other ideas.

Not really, liberal generations tend to stay liberal. Boomers are more liberal, Gen X is more conservative, millennials are the most left wing generation ever. Generation Z is turning out to be Generation naZi.

The left's demographic strategy for maintaining political power is at least partly dependent on fear mongering white people. Notice I said it's about maintaining political power for the left.

The left cares more about the minority vote than they do the minority. It's actually an insidious form of racism.

When that secret gets out they're screwed. Which is why conservative voices must be silenced on college campuses.

Demography is a factor

Demography is a factor in our political future because the patterns of our population are changing significantly and because different demographic groups tend to behave in identifiably different ways. But there is more to it that this.

America, indeed the world, has been shaken up by gigantic technological transformations in the past fifty years or so. Everything from computers to the Internet and more have created an America that members of the WWII generation would scarcely recognize if they were still around. It is the different way in which our various demographic groups respond to these changes that drives the transformation of our two-party system: the Republican revolution, the Hillary collapse etc.

We've seen our two major brands swap ingredients before. Black folks voted for the party of Lincoln while the Klan was solidly Democratic. That flipped with changes in the 1960s and is the basis of some of the major demographic alignments of the two parties today. The GOP is now a white people's party and looks to stay that way for the immediate future. The hard-edged white nationalism now in vogue isn't going to go away any time soon, but Republicans are going to have to figure out a way to stand for those values without alienating non-white voters because there are now so many of the latter that without at least some support from them, no party can be sure of national victory.

Can the GOP make this shift? I think it can, but it is going to have to try. Calls for such a self-examination have been blown off as RINO ranting for the past five years as the alt-right dances in heady long-awaited victory. Can the party come around smoothly or is it going to take a smashing defeat in 2020? We'll see.

The GOP doesn't need to make a shift....that would amount to promising low information voters free stuff which is what the DNC stupidly does. The shift needs to come from the black minority realizing that being duped into believing they are "entitled" to getting free stuff off the backs of working Americans has gotten them nowhere for the last six decades.

Wrong; that self examination needs to come from minority groups who are living in Liberal controlled urban sewers and making excuses up for their high drug use, crime rates, unemployment rates, high single parent birth rates and prostitution rates.

It's time to recognize that "Black Lives Matter" is a lie built from a patently false FAKE media narrative. The ONLY thing that matters to the DNC is black votes.....which they purchase by promoting false narratives that keep blacks within the confines of the urban sewers that substituted the plantation.

I can see that, but it does not consider the gradual movement towards the left over time. Put it this way, we aren't in the long term moving from robotic cars and unisex bathrooms towards slavery, child labor, feudalism and incest, despite that it would be the Republican preference. We win, positive change wins and conservatism means always having to apologize and deny exactly what you formally demanded. To the OP, yes demographics if coupled with a quality educational system will guarantee the gradual victory of enlightenment over the forces of evil defined as conservatism, barbarism, religiosity, war, climate disaster, pestilence...
