The OP's quote said "get", the reply said "get". The word means not only becoming sick but carrying the virus so as to be able to spread it. Cloth masks, the better ones, are still as recommended as before.

1) Pointing this out in no way refutes what he stated. You literally aren't capable of understanding what he's saying.

2) "Recommended" by the same people who are on the record admitting masks don't protect against viruses. The science could not be clearer in showing that they do not protect against jack shit. Masks are about making stupid people (Democrats) feel safe.

The bureaucracy only reversed course and contradicted itself on masks because Obama politicized every part of the federal government into a Third World banana republic Soviet clown show (hence treasonous scandals like the Russia hoax, which even Democrats now admit was a staged fraud).
