A first offense of illegal entry is treated much like a traffic ticket. It can be a civil matter, or it may be a treated as a misdemeanor. You get a brief hearing and the judge passes their ruling on the matter. You can appeal the ruling but you're like 99.8% going to lose on that.
At that point, you're deportable and would have an order of deportation imposed.
