Gun Controll.
Like anyone, my political views are mixed.
Regardless, though what matters is saving the country, keeping the neo-cons from ever achieving a majority again.
To their own detriment, they support gun rights. Detrimental, since ultimately citizens owning plenty of guns is the only defence against the tyrany they ultimately work towards.
Gore lost in 2000 only because of his percieved bias against guns.
Face the facts. It is the second ammendment, only slightly less important than the first.
If the founding fathers ever thought the revolution and british tyrany would be forgotten, it would be the first.
Cities with the strictest gun laws have the highest crime rates, fact.
Mass has the strictest state gun laws, and the highest rate of auto theft in the nation, fact.
My father grew up in a nazi ocupied country. He has made me well aware of the abuse which occurs when only authorities have weapons.
I am anti-abortion, but vote liberal.
I am anti-gun controll but vote liberal.
This post is NOT pro-gun, it is pro-liberal.
Gun controll is a loser for liberals.
We MUST put our personal feelings about guns aside and put the good of the nation first.
I do not own any guns.

We need to look at the bigger picture.
 
Personally, I think the liberals are absolute geniuses when it comes to politics. They have brainwashed so many people into believing their ideology, even when it's obvious their policies are in direct conflict with the people who support them. I mean, they've got you fools convinced we can spend our way out of debt... now, either that's genius on their part, or you people are really stupid. They constantly carry the banner for gay marriage, and even though 90% of black Americans oppose gay marriage, 90% will still vote for the liberal.... that's either genius, or blacks are really dumb. There has probably never been an administration so anti-Israel as the current one, in their actions and words, yet the majority of Jews will still vote Democrat.... genius, or what? They say they stand for the middle class, and make "the wealthy" their enemies, but when they are in power, the rich get richer, GE doesn't pay tax, and the poor get poorer and can't find jobs. Genius, or...?

Dixe, you have it exactly backwards. The party you support doesn't care one wit for you or anyone else who is not at leart a multi-millionare. When will you wake up and see that?

Bravo, seriously, point out one (really, even one) "fact" in Dixie's diatribe. What I read was all opinion, nothing else.

There is a lot more wrong with that picture than guns my freind. Mental health problems, lax parenting, and cowardly police all come to mind readily. Do I need to post some pictures of authoritarian atrocities?

And how do you propose preventing them from acquiring guns?

Just last week there was a shooting in the UK with an illegal gun. News flash: criminals don't obey gun laws.

Dixe, I realize all that matters to you is promoting the GOP, but the thread is about liberals and their atitudes towards guns. Do you have any relevant input?
 
Yep, I'm convinced.

Sarin, salmonella and all kinds of other lethal methods are just as widespread as gun killings!

Since we can't eliminate illegal guns entirely, why even try?

Hell, let's apply that logic to everything else.

Practicing medicine without a license? Well, we can't stop you, so why bother with those pesky requirements?

Keeping guns available (particulary at gun shows) is the only way to preserve our way of life, at least for the survivors.
