It's the state where Jim Clyburn has power to get out the vote. And Clyburn saved his ass last time around. And considering that polls show 67% of Democrats don't want Biden to run again he will likely have a harder time in 2024 than 2020. Plus if he doesn't run in 2024 it will put Clyburn in a better position to play king maker.
