As strikes against the Big Three Detroit automakers enter their 10th day Sunday, Democrats are praising a visit by President Biden to Michigan, scheduled for Tuesday, to show support for autoworkers on the picket lines.

The White House announced the news Friday, as United Auto Workers members walked out of 38 parts warehouses and distribution centers for General Motors and Stellantis in 20 states. The strike escalation, which spared Ford, added another 5,600 workers to the work stoppage for a total of 18,300 — about 12 percent of the union’s autoworker members.

Do you think Biden will stop at East Palestine on the trip? Air Force One can easily make both towns on one tank of fuel.

I think they will continue to follow the Trump and most prior admin policy of not showing up to such sites as the POTUS arrival does disrupt a lot when the focus should be the people and the agencies that are helping them.

Republicans used to mock those showing up for empty photo ops at the expense of the people at the scene, that is until Trump did an empty photo op at the expense of the people, during Biden's term when he did not show up to any the train wrecks in his term even when they involved lots of death.

What derps call the 'right thing' is the opposite of what they call the right thing yesterday or anything Biden does.

If he shows up at East Palestine, then you question why he is there for a photo op, at the expense of the citizens in need and call him scum as he does not instead follow what Trump and prior POTUS, did and not draw all the attention to himself.

if he does not go, in the same way Trump and others do not you say he is scum for not doing it.
