An elected Democratic official in Ohio penned an op-ed Friday calling Democratic senatorial candidate Tim Ryan "a fraud."

The op-ed, published in the Cincinnati Enquirer, was written by Hamilton County Auditor Dusty Rhodes "a proud, lifelong Democrat" who holds elected office in the state.

In the essay, Rhodes accuses Ryan of being a "fraud" and urges all voters – Democrats, Republicans and otherwise – not to vote for him.

Rhodes rebuffed any claims of Ryan being independent in his public service, saying the lawmaker is "100% lockstep" with Democratic Party leaders.

"Here’s the truth: Tim Ryan is not who he says he is. He votes in 100% lockstep with Pelosi and Biden in Congress. At every opportunity, he follows the orders of the D.C. establishment. That’s the path of least resistance that far too many of our 'leaders' fall into − we all deserve better."....

Vance widens lead over Ryan in final stretch of Ohio Senate race: poll

Emerson College’s final survey of the state’s midterm elections found Vance leading Ryan by 8 points, 51 percent to 43 percent. Vance’s support improved 5 points from Emerson’s poll of the race last month, while Ryan’s support fell 2 points.

Only 4 percent of respondents said in the new poll that they were undecided, but Vance’s lead increases to 9 points when their preferences are included.

The great thing about a GOP Senate would be that is where all confirmations have to come from. So Joe wouldn't be getting judges etc. confirmed unless the GOP Senate agreed.

And my hope stems from the idea that the House is a foregone conclusion for the GOP. So, I want them to take the Senate too, so we don't have any "split legislature" excuses.

There is nothing that Republicans or Democrats can do to curb record profits by corporations that is causing inflation.

Nor can they force American oil companies to produce more oil/gas, despite huge profits during this 'shortage'.

Republicans know that, but they also know that their voters are idiots.
