Trump reaches out to dems and they bite his hand. not smart politics from a party in the minority.

Either way trumps agenda will become rule, now or later it's really their choice.
And if the Dems keep obstructing he will nuke them, or better yet the red meat elections coming up America will give the GOP the 61 they need to hard rule.

It was bipartisan deal that benefited democrats more than republicans. Funding for PP and public funding for leftist propaganda [aka public TV] and other small ticket items continues until September. But defense spending is more critical than Planned Parenthood right now.

Trump dealt with congressional democrats in good faith and we ended up with a bipartisan budget. I think he deserves points for that and the fact the government is actually working for a change.

If by keeping the status quo you mean the gov't is working then you are correct; but if the goal was to be "non establishment" in supporting Trump then this deal is anything but.

Is there any one of these proposals the republicans in Congress didn't promise separate and apart from Trump?

Put another way which of these capitulations were things Trump promised but that the GOP never talked about and ran on

The GOP have been promising to defund Planned Parenthood long before Trump so how is it solely his failure to get them to deliver on something they promised years ago?

There is something deeper going on here and of course you being such a limited shallow thinker you can't see past your Trump Derangement Syndrome

I lay this squarely at the feet of Ryan and McCuntell. These are promises they made regardless of Trump
