Democratic strategist James Carville upset about oil spill; White House pushes back

And hear I thought I was just psoting what a local talking head who used to live in the Gulf coast was saying his friends down there were saying...now ifin he'd called me a gossip....jes' sayin' :cof1:

dunceler is incapable of seeing anything in a non partisan viewpoint...its all black and white....dems and republicans, there is no middle ground...its really sad, because he believes himself to be some sort of independent, however, the unfortunate reality is, his uber partisan posts and attacks prove otherwise

didn't bother to respond to my point though, did you....

What point? There were 16 agencies involved in this from the 1st day.

Guess what? In case you haven't been keeping up with current events, there is no "quick fix" on this. No "killer ideas" have been suppressed or left unsolicited.

You can't list missteps; you can't show me where people were looting & stranded in the middle of the street, while an ineffective government languished in a state of chronic cluelessness.

yet katrina is all bush's fault....

waaaaaaaaawaaaaaa

((yawn))

Total failure of leadership, from the top, no doubt.

TV images of people in the streets - stranded, flooded, no way out. History is pretty clear on the topic.

we know onceler....

there is no leadership from the top here....obama is blameless....

go to bed...

History's verdict is in on Bush; you're on the wrong side of it.

As for Obama, I have asked you for a list of missteps that is comparable quite a few times, and all you have is "look at what Carville said!"

Pretty damned funny, actually...
:clink:

you would never see them as comparable...you are a party hack...i've admitted all bush's fuck ups for katrina....you on the other hand have admitted nothing for obama...and instead of taking on a dem, CARVILLE, you attack ice dancer and myself....

btw....its past your bedtime....get under the covers or no internet for you tomorrow! :)

Do you actually have a list of specific missteps?

Or do you just have Carville?

Hush, little baby, don't say a word.
Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird

And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring

And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Papa's gonna buy you a looking glass

And if that looking glass gets broke,
Papa's gonna buy you a billy goat

And if that billy goat won't pull,
Papa's gonna buy you a cart and bull

And if that cart and bull fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town

Democratic strategist James Carville upset about oil spill; White House pushes back

In the Gulf Coast oil spill, there is man vs. nature. Then there is James Carville vs. the White House.

The irascible Democratic strategist has been on a rampage over the government handling of the spill in his native gulf region, accusing President Obama of "political stupidity" and saying the administration has been "lackadaisical."

"It just looks like he's not involved in this," Carville said Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America." Visibly agitated, Carville said: "Man, you got to get down here and take control of this, put somebody in charge of this thing and get this moving. We're about to die down here."

lol...the leader of the V is pissed at obama...tbo, after seeing obama say his admin has been calling the shots from day one...i think carville has a point...obama looks plain idiotic on this...at first it was - its BP's job, now its, oh wait, we are in charge and from day one

this is a huge mess and no way can obama escape some blame for this, there was much the federal government could have done to minimize the damage...this more and more looks like obama's katrina...i just wonder how long the press is going to give him a pass

Hahahahaaaaa! Poetic Justice!

The bald headed snapping alligator will be ripping Obama a new one!

Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus!!!

whoa.......obviously we have that covered.....now granted, instead of people in a football stadium we have dead turtles on a beach, but hey, I thought you liberals considered turtles more important than people in the first place......

now, back to basics....it's going to be difficult to identify MIS-steps until we start seeing some steps.....neh?......

I can tell you exactly what Bush & the Feds should have been doing, and when they should have been doing it, in a way that would have lessened the crisis in the aftermath of Katrina.

Can you tell me what Obama & the Feds should have been doing, and should be doing...aside from "get the best minds together & come up with something!"

Was GHWB in Alaska checking out the effects of the Valdez disaster back in 1989? Oops, nope, he never visited the site.

Where were you in March 1989 after the Valdez disaster? Criticizing GHW Bush like the rest of America, I presume ... NOT.

Where was that biased MSM when Bush was busy hiding his financial ties to the industry after the Valdez spill?

"President Bush is apparently aware that mass media exposure of his tank-barge investment could be politically embarrassing. On April 10, 1989, a little more than two weeks after the supertanker Exxon Valdez gushed oil onto hundreds of square miles of Alaska's Prince William Sound, Bush put his partnership interest into a qualified blind trust. This means it will not appear on his future financial disclosure statements. Nonetheless, thanks to the exhaustive investigation by Common Cause Magazine, it already is on the record and now deserves mass media attention."

Please continue using the double standard when bloviating about Obama's response to the BP mess. Such hackery is expected from you. :pke:
