Seems when it comes to Democrat mail-in ballots they all count regardless of how poor the signature match is, because "Every vote counts." But now in California, the Democrat Secretary of State has tossed out about 20% of all recall signatures (1 in 5) because they don't match the one for that voter on record in the movement to recall Democrat governor Gavin Newsome...
It appears that any signature is good when it helps a Democrat, but no signature is when it hurts them. You can smell the hypocrisy of this in New York and Florida it stinks so bad.
But even with that mass toss out, there's still more than enough signatures to force a recall... Looks like Newsome is finished...
At the same time, a California Democrat senator, Josh Newman, put forward a bill in the state house to make the names and other information on those signing such petitions public. Newman argues this would let the person being potentially recalled know who wants to recall them and respond. Opponents say that it would effectively dox signers who could be retaliated against, particularly if they were state government employees.
The outrage was sufficiently quick and vocal enough that Newman withdrew the bill--he'd already been recalled once himself but was later reelected.

Weber’s office announced that “the threshold of verified signatures reported by counties has been met for the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom. The valid signatures in the 10th report are 1,626,042, which exceeds the total of 1,495,709 signatures required. Counties still have until April 29th to verify the validity of any remaining signatures.”
