There were times around that debate where he was bumbling & sounded clueless, also.

Many thought his SOTU speech earlier this year was the best speech he had ever given.

I can agree with that. He is senile to a serious degree. He is stupid as a house brick. That one isn't new, he's always been stupid. He almost certainly has an advancing stage of Alzheimer's going on, but he doesn't have dementia--yet.
